Insulating Additive for All Paints

I purchased the paint additive. I used it in an area where there was always condensation and a little dampness. Needless to say the condensation and dampness has gone. The room appears warmer.  One thing I would say, that the additive makes the paint a little grainy, perhaps a way around this is needed.  Best Regards

I used the product in my paint when redecorating my bedroom which had quite a bit of mould growth which was causing health issues. After treating the areas with a liquid mould killer, mould resistant primer and adding mould inhibitor to the paint, I also added the thermalite. The process was easy and the finish although slightly fibrous in appearance was fine, I have not had any mould growth since and the walls do appear to be staying a bit warmer.
I only have to replace the radiator as this was only aboutr a third of the recommended power and the room will to all intents and purposes be fine. Whne redecoratin g the rest of the flat I will probably use thrmealite in the paint to try and save monet with the insylating properties. The wall I treated were exterior NW facing walls which always seemed cold before. The room does seem more tolerable and also not as hot in the summer.
Would I recommend the product thermalite? Yes I would and actually have to friends and family. Thanks for what seems like a winner product. Kind regards

I would just like to leave my comments about an amazing product that does exactly what it says it says on the packet...INSULATES! The paint additive, Thermalite, really does work. I live in an old stone cottage on top of a hill (very, very windy and stormy). Over the years my husband and I have dry-lined our cottage but there was a north facing wall in the kitchen which we never got round to doing so we decided to try Thermalite instead. The difference in the heat that is retained in my kitchen now is very noticeable. Even on a mild day the kitchen used to feel quite cool. Not any more. It just feels so cosy. We are so impressed by this product that we are ordering more! I can't recommend it enough and it certainly deserves a 5 star rating.

We are writing to tell you how pleased I am with Thermilate and to say thank you for making my sunroom a Comfort to be in.
We have a sunroom with brick walls the sunroom used to feel like an ice box and the walls were always cold.
The solutions we were offered were expensive and disruptive and then we read about Thermilate and decided to give it a try.
We painted one wall to see how well it worked to our amazement the wall felt warmer as soon as the paint dried.
Well needless to say we now have a fully insulated sunroom which is now nice and warm and no longer feels cold.

Reference your survey on My purchase of your Thermilete product. I have over 40 years experience in Thermal Insulation applications including  Marine & Industrial painting (On and Offshore) UK and Overseas. At present I have been using your Thermilte powder additive to emulsion paint interior and exterior applications to Wall and Roof tile coating. Internally I have expereinced the benifit of this application and based on application from last winter here in the UK and find it  has positive rsults.. The instructions are simple.., add the contents to 5 Ltrs of paint and  apply coat 2 coats and then apply a final colour of your choce as an final encapulation. Its work's!! So I am pleased about this on my home project..I will also use your product on Marine Contracts that I am estimating on at present. The realality is  you can use your powder  addditive on any application where you require a simple Insulation application with minimum of skill. Regards

My house was too hot! I have southern exposure across the back and a low pitched roof. Even when the temperature is below freezing, if the sun is out, my living room could easily get up to 80 degrees, and 90 or more during the summer. Because I needed to repaint the room and ceiling, I put Thermilate in the paint. I figured at the very least, it didn't cost much and might help although frankly I was not optimistic. So it was a nice surprise to find the room was approximately 8 to 10 degrees cooler. And the difference in the rooms comfort level was amazing! Anyway, thank you, thank you, and thank you! I will write back when I get around to painting our basement which is way too cold and tell you how that works too! Thanks again

"My lounge always had this uncomfortable chill, and a large amount of heating was required in order to keep the room warm. I painted 2 coats in the lounge, many months ago with the hope it would help with the heating costs. To our excitement, the temperature in the room is now 4 degrees higher, which means I don't need to use as much heating as before. A saving of 4 degrees is really much more than I expected, and it actually made the paint go further.........Thermilate has certainly exceeded my expectations......."

"This is now the 2nd winter my 'Thermilated'  bathroom walls and ceiling are experiencing and I have waited until now to obtain an overall better idea of precisely whether the product worked for my circumstances or not. The bathroom has quite exposed outer walls and is north facing and this, together with the fact the radiator is neither use nor ornament ensures one does not linger - it is extremely cold. Black mould caused through the condensation has been the bane of my life for many years - until now that is.  The room is still bitterly cold and the walls constantly run with condensation but there has been virtually no mould forms. What little has started to form has been pale grey, which I have immediately wiped away with a cloth - and it is gone! So far, I have only had to wipe it twice in 2 years. I can only hope it now continues with the good work.
